The children learned about voting in a general election today. This included spolied votes, transfers, quotas, the Dáil, TDs, and much more.
They then voted in the polling booths using a simplified ballot paper.
6th class counted the votes, and eliminated some candidates and declared others as having reached the quota.
Great fun and great learning.
