In a bid to give the students of our school a voice, we have initiated a students council.
Classes from 2nd to 6th were invited to vote for a boy and a girl from each class whom they felt would work hard and voice their opinions.
They will meet with Mr. Kelly throughout the year and decide on appropriate projects.
Unfortunately, the most popular opinion - banning homework - will not be an option!
Here are our student council representatives below.

It’s really important that students are given a voice, and I like how each class gets to vote for representatives who can share their ideas and opinions. It makes school feel more inclusive and gives everyone a chance to be heard, which is exactly what a student council should do. I know how valuable it is to have a platform like this, especially when balancing school life and things like homework help, so having a council that can raise concerns and suggest improvements is really positive. It’ll be interesting to see what projects they take on throughout the year!
