Dear parents,
In the senior end of the school, we use the eLeathanach quite a bit.
They are weekly newspapers as Gaeilge.
They have child-friendly news articles in a short, snappy format.
I have attached two of them.
The children don't have to understand every word.
It's more a matter of getting the jist of it and picking up some vocabulary along the way.
If they learn just two or three new words or phrases, well that's a great result.
