Dear parents,

Sometimes it's good to sit and watch a film with your children.

This can be educational. You can discuss the film with your child afterwards.

You could explore these aspects:

  • What was the plot/story? What was the problem (there's always a problem)?

  • Who were the main characters? What did they want (motivation)?

  • Did you enjoy it? Why? Why not?

  • What was the climax (the most exciting part)?

  • Genre - what kind of film was it? Animation, western, thriller, etc.

  • What was the dialogue like? Realistic?

  • Did you like the ending?

  • Etc.

Your child could write a review afterwards.

Or maybe just watch the film and enjoy the peace and quiet!
